Welcome to Case Now, operated by Liontude, LLC (“Liontude,” “Case Now,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile applications, websites (including casenow.com), and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 to use the Service and 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or make purchases. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and kept current, and that you will maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.
2. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices (including in-app account deletion). California residents can exercise their rights (including “Do Not Sell or Share”) as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. No Legal Advice; No Government Affiliation
Case Now is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Information in the Service is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney.
Case Now is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government or USCIS. If there is any discrepancy, USCIS’s official result controls.
4. USCIS Case Status & Timelines
When you enter a USCIS receipt number, the Service queries official USCIS endpoints to display current status and build your personal timeline. We do not alter the substance of USCIS messages; we may format for readability and show retrieval timestamps. Status can change after we fetch it; for the latest information, check directly with USCIS.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service; (b) bypass or interfere with security or access controls; (c) scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data (including case data) or circumvent rate limits; (d) use the Service for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing activity; or (e) upload malware or content that violates others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Advertising, Premium & Purchases
The app is free with advertising (via Google AdMob). A premium, ad-free version with additional features may be offered.
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
- Cancellation: Manage or cancel through your Apple/Google account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Trials: If offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled per store rules.
- Refunds: Refunds are governed by Apple/Google policies; Case Now does not process direct refunds.
7. User Content (if enabled)
If the Service later allows you to submit content (e.g., profile info, comments), you represent you have the necessary rights and that your content complies with these Terms. You grant Liontude a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
8. Third-Party Services & Links
We use third-party services (e.g., Firebase/Google Analytics, AdMob, Sentry, hosting providers) to operate the Service. The Service may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
9. Intellectual Property; DMCA
The Service and its content, features, and code are owned by Liontude and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
DMCA notices: If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email info@casenow.com (subject: “DMCA”) or mail Liontude, LLC, 1319 N University Dr #118, Coral Springs, FL 33071, USA. Include: (1) your contact info; (2) description/location of the work/material; (3) a good-faith statement of unauthorized use; (4) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner/authorized agent; and (5) your physical or electronic signature.
10. Visual Content and AI-Generated Images
CaseNow uses a combination of licensed stock photography, AI-generated illustrations, original graphics, and other legally obtained visual materials throughout the website. AI-generated images are used solely for editorial and illustrative purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not depict actual events, people, government officials, locations, or official documents and should not be interpreted as factual or documentary evidence.
Stock photographs and other third-party visual materials remain subject to the copyright and licensing terms of their respective owners or licensors. CaseNow respects intellectual property rights and uses visual content in accordance with applicable licenses and permissions.If you believe that any visual content published on this website infringes your intellectual property rights or has been used in error, please contact us so we can promptly review the matter and take appropriate action where necessary.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIONTUDE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIONTUDE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $50 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO LIONTUDE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; some above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liontude and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your (a) use of the Service, (b) violation of these Terms, or (c) infringement of any third-party right.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms or legal requirements. You may terminate by deleting your account (in-app) or contacting info@casenow.com. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute terms) will survive termination.
15. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida for all disputes arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.
16. Export Controls & Sanctions
You must not use or export the Service in violation of U.S. export laws and sanctions. You represent you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any embargoed country or on any U.S. government denied-party list.
17. Electronic Communications; Notices
You consent to receive communications from us electronically (email, in-app notices). We may provide legal notices by email to the address associated with your account or by posting within the Service. You agree these satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service (or by email where appropriate). The updated Terms are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
