This Privacy Policy explains how Liontude, LLC (“Liontude”, “Case Now”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile apps (including Case Now), and related channels such as our YouTube and social media pages (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1) Who We Are
Controller: Liontude, LLC
Address: 1319 N University Dr #118, Coral Springs, FL 33071, USA
Contact: info@casenow.com • +1 (954) 800-3932
2) Information We Collect
A. You provide
- Account/Contact details (e.g., name, email) when you register or contact support.
- Case inputs you choose to enter (e.g., USCIS receipt number) to fetch status and build your timeline.
B. Collected automatically
- Device & usage data (IP, device IDs, OS/app version, language, region, pages/screens viewed, events, timestamps).
- Crash & performance data (e.g., via Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics where applicable).
- Cookies/SDKs for analytics, security, and advertising (see Section 5).
C. Purchases & subscriptions
- Payments are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We receive limited payment metadata (like a transaction ID) and do not store card details.
3) How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (case status checks, timelines, features).
- Communicate with you (support, service updates, transactional notices).
- Process purchases/subscriptions and manage license status.
- Monitor performance, debug, prevent fraud/security issues.
- Comply with laws and enforce terms.
We may use aggregated/de-identified data for analytics and product improvement and take steps to prevent re-identification.
4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK, where applicable)
- Performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request).
- Legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement, preventing abuse).
- Consent (where required, e.g., certain cookies/ads).
- Legal obligation (to comply with applicable laws).
5) Cookies, SDKs, Analytics, and Your Choices
We use cookies (web) and SDKs (mobile) to run the Service, measure usage, improve quality, and—via partners—show advertising.
- Web/browser controls: block or delete cookies in your browser (some features may not work).
- Mobile settings: reset/limit ad identifiers and restrict ad personalization in device settings.
- Platform settings: manage ads personalization in Google/Apple settings.
- In-app settings (if available): adjust analytics/ads preferences.
Do Not Track: the Service currently does not respond to DNT signals.
Analytics used:
- Firebase Analytics (app) and Google Analytics (web).
- Crash/performance: Sentry (and/or Firebase Crashlytics) where used.
6) Advertising and “Sale/Share” (California)
We do not sell Personal Information for money. We use AdMob, which may show personalized or non-personalized ads based on its own settings and platform signals. Under California law (CPRA), personalized ads by third-party ad partners can be considered a “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Opt-out options for California residents:
- Email info@casenow.com with subject: “Do Not Sell or Share”; and
- Adjust device and Google/Apple ad personalization settings to limit personalized ads.
If you prefer non-personalized ads broadly, use your device/platform ad settings.
7) When We Share Information
We share Personal Information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Service providers/Processors: hosting (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean/Cloudways), analytics (Firebase/Google Analytics), crash reporting (Sentry), advertising (AdMob), email/support tools. These providers are contractually limited to using data only to provide services to us.
- Payment processors: Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases.
- Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not disclose receipt numbers or USCIS-sourced case content to third parties except our processors acting on our instructions to operate the Service (e.g., secure hosting).
8) Government Data & USCIS Case Status
- Source and purpose. When you enter a USCIS receipt number, Case Now queries the official USCIS Case Status service solely to display that case’s current status and related history in your personal timeline.
- No affiliation. Case Now is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS. Official case information comes from USCIS, and the USCIS result controls if there is any discrepancy.
- No alteration. We do not modify the substance of USCIS case messages. We may add formatting for readability and show the retrieval timestamp and last known refresh time.
- Accuracy notice. Case status may change on USCIS systems after we retrieve it. For the most current information, users can check directly with USCIS.
9) USCIS Data Handling (Receipt Numbers & Responses)
- Minimal data. We store receipt numbers only to provide features you request (e.g., saving cases, refresh, notifications).
- Security. Receipt numbers and related status data are protected using encryption in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorized personnel and systems.
- Retention. USCIS responses shown in the app may be cached to power your timeline and notifications. We refresh periodically and keep cached responses no longer than 12 months, unless you remove the case sooner. If you remove a case or delete your account, we delete the corresponding cached entries.
- No sale or independent sharing. We do not sell receipt numbers or USCIS-sourced data, and we do not share them with third parties for their independent use.
- No circumvention. We access USCIS case status through approved methods and respect usage limits and terms.
10) Predictions & Estimates (If/When Available)
- Not official. Any processing-time ranges, trend indicators, or predictions are informational estimates only and not provided by USCIS. They do not guarantee outcomes or timelines.
- Inputs. Estimates may use publicly available information and de-identified, aggregated app data. We do not use the content of your USCIS messages to make legal determinations.
11) Prohibited Sensitive Data
Case Now does not require or intentionally collect A-Numbers, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, or document scans to retrieve USCIS case status. Please do not upload such information in free-text fields. If we learn we hold it, we will delete it upon discovery or request.
12) User Control Over USCIS Data
You can remove any saved case at any time (which deletes the cached USCIS response for that case), and you can delete your account in-app or via email to info@casenow.com. After deletion, we retain only de-identified analytics that cannot identify you.
13) Data Retention
We retain Personal Information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Account & case data: until you delete the item or your account (we may notify before deleting for inactivity).
- Cached USCIS responses: refreshed periodically and retained up to 12 months, unless you remove the case sooner.
- Crash/analytics logs: typically 12–24 months (service-dependent).
- Legal/compliance records: as required by law.
We may keep de-identified analytics after deletion, without identifying you.
14) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (including encryption at rest for stored receipt numbers, encryption in transit, access controls, and segmented systems). No method is 100% secure.
15) Your Rights and Choices
Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): know/access, delete, correct, opt-out of sale/share, and non-discrimination.
- EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction/objection; withdraw consent where used.
Requests: info@casenow.com. We may verify your identity before acting.
16) International Data Transfers
We process data in the United States and may transfer data internationally. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
17) Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact info@casenow.com and we will delete it.
18) Data Breach Notification
If a security incident materially affects your Personal Information, we will notify you as promptly as practicable in accordance with applicable law and include steps you can take to protect yourself.
19) Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party sites/apps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies.
20) Delete Your Account / Data
You can delete your account and associated identifiable data in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing info@casenow.com. We will delete identifiable data; we may retain de-identified analytics that cannot identify you.
21) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via the Service (or by email where appropriate). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
